Step 2: Find out the elements that can restrain “water”. According to the figure below, soil can restrain water. Therefore, the element “B” = “earth” represents his “official”
Step 3: Non-water = Yang water. The opposite side of Yang is yin, so the earth element representing his “official” can only become “official” if it is yin.

The day stem “A” is (Xin) Yin Jin, and “Zhengguan” is Yang Huo (C, Wu)
